Yes — It's free for everyone: locals, visitors and businesses. There's no charge to browse or to add your listing.

Listings can be added at any time by business/amenity owners or designated contacts. We also run regular checks and incorporate community feedback, so the map keeps improving.

Absolutely. First you'll need create a quick account to add your listing — This prevents spam, lets you update details later and allows us to contact you if something needs attention.

The map & website are both built and maintained by one local individual with no outside funding. It's free to use and free for businesses to add and update listings. There are no ads (currently).

You can, but Discover Crediton is built to be "local-first" and community-updated, focusing on the small but important details people here actually ask about: dog-friendly spots, venues with disabled access or disabled toilets (including RADAR toilets), baby-changing or breastfeeding-friendly facilities, businesses offering free water bottle refills, EV charging, and much more — all brought together on a single, fast, tidy map. It's independent, ad-free, and actively maintained so the information stays accurate for Crediton.

Yes! — The eventual goal is to develop this website into a "virtual highstreet", business directory, and general Crediton information hub. Local event listings are next on the list of things todo, followed by expanded business information pages (opening times + other info), user accounts (including Facebook & Google login integration) to "favourite" places & events, and also allow (sensible) business & amenity ratings and reviews.
